Entry Fee -
$12.00 per race ($15.00 for unattached riders)
Prizes - Prizes include minimum top 3 for each
race. M40+, Women, and Jr.'s
are scored separately. Cash prizes will be awarded for all categories except Cat 5.
There will be trophies for the top 3 overall of each category at the end of the series. Cash Primes.
BETHEL CYCLE and FITNESS
has generously donated the following prize -
Festina Watches for overall winners for Pro 1/2/3, 3/4, Wm, Jr, M40+, and 4's.
SPINERGY has donated
a wheelset for overall raffle. You will receive one ticket for every race you enter.
At the end of the last Pro 1/2/3 race, we will draw tickets until someone present
matches tickets. You MUST be present to win any raffle prizes.
Upgrade points -
According to Tom Vinson, the Series
cannot count for all of your upgrade points. However, you may list each
result separately on your resume. Category 5's can use the Cat 5 race. Cat
4's may use either the 4's or the 3/4's. Cat 3's will probably need to use
the Pro 1/2/3's (unless 60 Cat 3's race the 3/4 race). M40+, Women, and
Juniors can list their race, however, the field sizes may not meet minimum
upgrade requirements. Based on the estimated time of each race, all should
be long enough for upgrade purposes.
Course -
The course is a wide, secure, 0.90
loop with one hill.
Other Information -
SMART FUEL
Leaders Jerseys will be handed out to each Overall Leader each week. One
will go to the following categories: Cat Pro 1/2/3, Cat 3/4, M40+, Women, Juniors,
Cat 4. These will be returned each week, and the overall winner will keep
one at the end of the Series. Bethel Spring Series Points will be awarded
each week, 1st = 7 points, 2nd = 5 points, 4 pts, 3pts, 2pts, and 1 pt for 6th
place. The last week will award 7 places per race with the winner getting 10
points, then the next 6 places being the norm, i.e. 7, 5, 4, 3,
2, 1. These are not to be confused with USCF upgrade points - they do
not count towards your upgrade.
Smart Fuel has also donated their energy drink mixes, bars, and more for racers
to enjoy.
Held under USCF rules and regulations - permit number to follow. Promoter reserves the
right to combine or separate classes. Field Limit 100 (50 for Category 5).
