Another Series has finished up and it's been a great success. We had multiple weeks where the 4's and 3/4's had over 90 racers, with a few weeks of full 100-racer fields in the 3/4 race. Some parting thoughts and words:
Bethel Cycle was a big help in organizing the event, they made the Series a season goal, and they donated prizes for the overall winners of the race. If you have any bicycle needs, they'll take care of you. They even have online ordering for those of you out of the area.
Omnesys Technologies stepped in and sponsored the leader's jersey, the goal for so many racers here. They also made it possible for me to spend some time on the Series and on the bike so I owe that to them. For anyone that has a range of IT platforms and needs to transfer data between them, Omnesys can handle it.
Verge Sports was an incredible help in ordering our custom leaders jerseys - no hassles, good price, delivery earlier than expected, and an friendly and excellent staff to work with. They also provided us with socks for primes - and you know you can never have too many cycling socks. An excellent source for your next year's team uniforms.
CTS (Carmichael Training Systems) gave us training videos to give to the racers. They are informative, fun, and challenging. They were also super quick and very nice to work with. They offer personalized coaching as well as more general programs.
DeFeet got us a lot of the socks out there too and they also were very friendly and very supportive of our race. They have these great thin socks that are perfect for cycling shoes.
Clif Bar got us 500 sample size bars which is great. I saw people digging into them as soon as they won them!
RV-INNO gave us a rack to give away. Of course I forgot to raffle it off. However, they have always been good to work with, responsive, and, importantly, they offer a superb product. Their racks are great with super strong crossbars, easy to use bike mounts, and some innovative accessory mounts (locking surfboard mount anyone?). They carry ski and boat accessories as well.
Props out to BikeReg.com and racelistings.com, both who get the word out about the Series very inexpensively.
As a promoter, I appreciate everyone who used the portapotties (and not something else), put their GU wrappers back in their pockets, and picked up the bottles they tossed. I think this year everyone was very considerate as I did not have to clean up a lot after the last race.
Thanks again to everyone who came and raced. Have a great season and we hope to help you kick off your 2005 year!
Aki

For optimal browser settings, please follow the guidelines here - Optimal Settings. The quick and dirty is to set your page to check for newer versions of the page on every visit to the page, not "automatically" (which translates to virtually never). This will let you see the latest version of each page (and they change a few times a week during the Series).
New: Found and Lost for things that were found at the race course at the end of the day. Lots of goodies here. I'm going to keep things available for one year, then I'll give away whatever I find.

Sponsors include:
* Omnesys Technologies NEW!
* Verge NEW!
* Bethel Cycle
* CLIF Bar NEW!
* Carmichael Training Systems NEW!
