Carpe Diem Racing is the low-key and friendly team associated with Carpe Diem Promotions and the Bethel Spring Series.  The team was created to promote the Bethel Spring Series and any other races Carpe Diem Promotions might promote or help promote.  It is aimed at Cat 3-4-5 racers who race but are limited with regards to their racing and training schedules.  

Carpe Diem Racing emphasizes friendly competition, respect for others, riding/racing ettiquete, tactics, and having (and sharing) the enthusiasm we have for bicycle racing. 

There are no scheduled training rides but members typically do the Gimbles ride in NY and the Wed Night rides in Greenwich.  For the adventurous and time-challenged, there are unofficial Nighttime Downtown Sprints in Stamford on a very infrequent basis.

There is no membership fee.  Team members are expected to purchase at least one jersey. Other clothing is available - for now, it will be long and short sleeve jerseys, bib shorts, wind vests, and winter jackets.  Costs reflect the cost of purchasing the clothing - the team does not make any money on its riders.  The kit is designed by a very good local designer Matt Inconglios.  The team pays for his services.  Carpe Diem Promotions pays for its logo on the jersey as do all the other sponsors.  This helps defray team membership, shipping, and clothing design costs.

New Canaan Cyclery has offered limited discounts for team members.
