Overall placings are based on points accumulated for top 6 placings in Weeks 1-5. In Week 6, there will be 7 points earning places.
Weeks 1-5:
Win = 7 points
Second = 5 points
Third = 4 points
Fourth = 3 points
Fifth = 2 points
Sixth = 1 point
In Week 6 we make the win worth 10 points and move the other six places down one spot.
If racers are tied on points, their placing on the last week is used to determine who wins.
Points are not USAC points. Final results are determined by the promoter's calculations.
Ice, snow on the road, and lightning cancels races. If there is ice/snow/lightning, the front page of carpediemracing.org will be updated to reflect this, and announce the race cancellation. Regular rain, wind, and other less severe weather simply add ambiance to the event.
