Overall GC 2009

Some rules:
- If your number is not legible, you will not be placed.
- When tied in points, the higher scored racer in the last held race is ranked higher.
- In Cat 5's there is a possibility of a complete tie. In this case the racers are actually tied.
- Points are awarded as follows:

First place: 7 points
Second place: 5 points
Third place: 4 points
Fourth place: 3 points
Fifth place: 2 points
Sixth place: 1 point
(Points are awarded like so: 7, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1)

- On the last week first place gets 10 points, and the remaining points amounts are moved down one place, so seventh place gets 1 point (i.e. 10, 7, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1).

The promoter has the right to correct mistakes right up until the awards are given out. The Bethel Spring Series overall is not an official USAC ranking, it is an informal "within the race" competition. As such, standard protest rules and such do not apply.

Remember, though, that your official USAC placings are reported to USAC per USAC rules. So if you think you were placed incorrectly, speak up! However, if you offer compelling proof that you were not placed correctly (photos or videos), we will correct your placings as it pertains to your overall GC.
